Julian Nagelsmann: German Football Manager

Julian Nagelsmann is a German professional football coach and former player. He is the current manager of the Germany national team. Nagelsmann was born on July 23, 1987, in Landsberg am Lech, Germany.

Nagelsmann began his coaching career in 2008 as a youth coach for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In 2016, he was appointed as the manager of Hoffenheim's first team. He led the club to a third-place finish in the Bundesliga in 2016-17, and a fourth-place finish in 2017-18. Nagelsmann joined Bayern Munich in 2018 and won the Bundesliga title in each of his three seasons in charge.

Former Footballer

Before becoming a coach, Nagelsmann played as a central defender for FC Augsburg II. He retired from playing in 2008 due to a knee injury.

Managerial Success

Nagelsmann is one of the most highly-rated young managers in the world. He is known for his attacking style of play and his ability to develop young players. He led Bayern Munich to a treble in 2020, winning the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and UEFA Champions League.

Germany National Team Manager

In 2021, Nagelsmann was appointed as the manager of the Germany national team. He led the team to the knockout stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where they were eliminated by England in the Round of 16.
